Riding Instruction

Most children can become great riders with the proper instruction. Our dedicated instructors offer students individually tailored lessons on quality horses and ponies.

The Hollows Equestrian Centre has private and semi-private lessons with a maximum of two students per instructor; this ensures that every student receives the attention needed in order to develop confidence and effective riding skills.

Safety

Safety is our number one concern at The Hollows Equestrian Centre. All students are required to wear a certified SEI or ASTM riding helmet, riding boots, and safety vest.

Student saddles are equipped with safety stirrups and vests are available for rent.

Lessons

Lessons are available for all ages and ability levels year-round. Facilities include: indoor arena, 1 large hunter ring, 2 sand rings, 1 grass ring, and 10 km. of private cross-country trails offering the perfect riding environment for students of all ages and ability levels.

Rates (Effective July 1st 2009)

Lessons are offered in packages of 4, 6 or 8 and must be purchased prior to the first lesson.

Rates

Private 1 hour lesson: $50.00   

Semi-Private 1 hour lesson: $40.00   

Private ½ hour lesson: $25.00
